I’m so excited to share my latest party with you!!
Kendall, who lives next door, was turning 8 and we had been talking in the backyard, very casually, for a while about what she’d like as a theme to her birthday party. She decided that she wanted it to be all about cute little puppies with the colors purple and turquoise (no pink!!) I was so thrilled when her mom asked me to help out with all the decorations and activities! She loves glittler and sequins too, so it was fun to add some sparkles and glam to her party!!
The girls got to snack on pupcakes (fondant and sprinkles added by me, cupcakes by Heavenly Sweets), taffy rope toys, purple candy pawps, rawhides (white chocolate covered pretzel rods), puppy chow (chocolate covered raisins and peanuts) and pupcorn.
The dining table included a personalized placemat with a dog bone printed on it and a dog bone shaped water bottle, each with a “dog tag” around the top with their name on it.
For some fun, they had a “grooming salon” set up full of nail polish, eye shadow and hair accessories. They also got the chance to make their own dog tags and “collar” (a beaded necklace) using all kinds of fun, bright beads and cording.
It turned out to be a fun and super colorful party!!
